Why Workday asks for a new account at every company
Each company that hires through Workday runs its own Workday career site, and your candidate account belongs to that company's site. An account at one employer doesn't sign you in at the next, so you make another account, confirm your email again and type the same work history again. Workday's own announcement of its Candidate Profile calls this one of the most common frustrations in job hunting.

What to do until then
If you may have applied to a company before, try its "Forgot password" link before creating a new account, so you don't end up with two. Keep your standard answers (dates of each job, degree dates, links, work authorization) in one place. After a résumé upload, check every field it filled: parsing can split, merge or skip jobs.
